He has been directing this conference for forty-four years.

Dr. Lawton is perpetually busy speaking on National Lectureships, College Lectureships, National Youth Conferences, and conducting Gospel Meetings and Evangelism Seminars from the Gulf to the Great Lakes, and from the sunny shores of California to the skyscrapers of New York City. His name is a household word among members of the Churches of Christ in America. He has preached in the West Indies, East and West Africa, South Africa and in Jerusalem.
